Automotive Company in Los Angeles, CA has a need for a CFD Engineer.Job summary-Conduct CFD analysis to predict aerodynamic drag for automobile design models-Primary focus will be on drag force correlation studies to experimental (wind tunnel)-Steady State, external flow CFD process using Harpoon and Tgrd comparing to scale wind tunnel experiences-Additional projects may include CFD analysis for exterior design of new automobile proposals-Experience with CATIA, Alias and/or ANSA-Meshing and troubleshooting of mesh problems-Solving Cases and Analyzing resultsRequirements-Min 3yrs working with CFD-Ansys/Fluent experience desired-Automotive Industry Experience-Proficient in Ms power point, Microsoft excel, and Microsoft word Applications-BS Degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics EngineeringInterested applicants are encouraged to contact Diane Farrand at Aerotek Automotive for further consideration.Phone
