Looking for Freelance Education/Writing Bloggers in Los Angeles, CA

Statement Guru, a growing personal statement/statement of purpose tutoring company, is looking for bloggers to generate content relevant to our site. Our posts fall into three categories: personal statement advice, general writing tips and beyond school (personal branding, career/lifestyle advice etc.) We want a roster of bloggers to contribute on a freelance basis to one or more of these categories.You will be asked to visit the Statement Guru blog to view our past entries and get a sense of the content and tone we are looking for. Compensation is $10 per 500 words or fraction thereof. Though not a requirement, we prefer bloggers with an established web presence who can link to their Statement Guru articles from their Twitter/Facebook/etc. feeds.Most of all, we are looking for writers who can provide us valuable content for prospective clients.Please be prepared to write a sample essay that fits the tone and content of our site. If we like it enough, we might pay you to publish it. Our site uses Yoast SEO, so you must also be willing to learn how to construct your articles in a Yoast-friendly way. Topics and frequency in which articles will be published is at Statement Guru's discretion.
